To promote Performing Arts and to groom students' artistic talent MGM Trust established the College of Dramatics in 2005. The college is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. Within a short span of time the college has made its presence felt in the world of performing Arts.

Aims and Objectives

To create an additional avenue of self- employment for students of the MGM College of Dramatics and also to benefit the cultural arena by providing it with suitably trained persons in the field of Theatre Arts.

To enable the students to exploit opportunities in the field of Theatre and other Performing Arts, Art Administration, Theatre Research and Education, Films, Electronic Media and Mass Communication.

To provide adequate professional understanding about Acting, Production, Direction, Stagecraft and Play writing with adequate emphasis on theory and practical.

To inculcate drama training and practical approach with the help of modern technology in the fields of theatre and the performing arts to groom as theatre professionals, who can contribute to build up theatre culture of the country and work as facilitators for national and international theatres.
