MGM’s College of Journalism and Mass Communication was established in 1993 and ever since has relentlessly been working towards carving a professional journalist out of a student. Grounded on the accepted fact that dependency on the new age media communication has increased in the 21st century, thereby mounting the responsibility on media schools for creating skilled professionals. qualified and able manpower for the media industry. Our newest degree program based on UNESCO’s Curriculum designed specifically for international students from developing and emerging democracies stands testimony to our feats.
MGM’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication has, for over a decade produced a talent pool in media communication industry who have assumed important positions in prestigious organizations across India.
We believe that exposure to a variety of sectors is of prime importance for any journalist. Our apprehensive trainees transform into bolstered and confident individuals after attending special seminars, conferences, guest sessions, industry visits, meetings with politicians, industrialists, social workers etc. They also get an assured hands-on training in using media gadgets.
We are proud to notify that our students constantly earn accolades for their work in media. The latest being, an award conferred to our student’s for their documentary film “Maharashtra ki Madya Rashtra”.

Audio-Visual Studio:
MGM’s College of Journalism and Mass Communication is equipped with state of the art professional audio-visual studio laden with professional mini DV HD cameras, Teleprompters, lighting equipments, professional voice recording studio, lapel microphones, booms, Chroma Key screen, Avid Liquid editing studio etc.
