Overview

MGM's Institute of Physiotherapy was set up in 2006 with the aim of imparting education to the needy in this part of India. Physiotherapy is an allied and upcoming health profession characterised by the treatment of various diseases and disorders with the help of Physical Medicine modalities like electricity, heat, cold, light, water, exercises, traction, compression, manipulations etc.

BPTh (Bachelor of Physiotherapy , MPTh (Master  of Physiotherapy) and Ph. D.

Affiliation
The institute is affiliated to MUHS(Maharashtra University of Health Sciences) Nasik, vide their letter no. MUHS/PB/UG/603/2006 Dated 8-6-2006.

Recognition
The institute is recognised by the Government of Maharashtra Medical Education and Drugs Department vide their G.R.No.PSO-1304/63/PK/14/2005/Education -1 dated 26-10-2005.

Facilities:
Multi specialty 600 bedded hospital, huge campus, sports ground, digital library, indoor sports complex, naturopathy centre, bookshop, well-equipped laboratories, separate hostels for boys and girls, gymnasium, swimming pool, bank and canteen.

Faculty
full time highly qualified faculty with different specialisations from all over India and part time faculty from MGM Medical College, Aurangabad for medical subjects.
