MGM Medical College, Aurangabad was established in Jan 1990 at N-6, CIDCO, Aurangabad. The first batch of students were admitted in Janurary 1990. The construction of the enw hospital and college building was completed in 1993 and OPD was shifted to the underground section of the main college building. The main college building and OT complex work was competed later in 2003 and started functioning along with wards, departments, MCRI and Endoscopy department since 2003. The college is recognized by Medical Council of India since 1996, with 100 UG seats and 11 PG seats. The Hospital is well equipped and modernized with 580 beds including a 27 bedded Medical Center & Research Institure (Deluxe Ward), Multispeciality wards and departments and ten state of art operation theatres. |
CAMPUS:
The Medical College and Hospital is constructed in state of Art buildings of over 3,00,000 sq. ft. area. The Florence Nightangale GNM, Nursing College and Mother Teresa B.Sc. Nursing College, Physioherapy College, Naturopathy college are co-located with the Medical College buildings. In addition, Resident Doctors Quarters are located within the hospital complex. Boys & Girls Hostel exists separately near the MGM Sports Complex with a well equipped gymnasium and MGM sports ground all within the MGM Campus.
